Description

The DMC-1415 is a member of the Econo Series, Galil's latest generation of single-axis motion controllers which are half the size and half the price of multi-axis controllers. The DMC-1415 is available as a single axis card, or as a "box-level" product complete with metal enclosure and integrated power supply. The CDS-3310 is packaged with an internal servo amplifier suitable for driving brush-type or brushless servo motors up to 72 Volts, 7 Amps.
The DMC-1415 features Ethernet connectivity which allows easy, high-speed, long distance communications between any number of computer hardware devices located on a LAN, such as I/O modules, MMI interfaces, PCs, PLCs and vision systems. The DMC-1415 can handle the most demanding applications with such features as an extra encoder input for electronic gearing, program memory with multitasking, uncommitted I/O and user-selectable stepper or servo motor control. Modes of motion include point-to-point positioning, jogging, contouring, electronic gearing and ecam. Programming the DMC-1415 is simplified with two-letter, intuitive commands and a full set of software tools such as WSDK for servo tuning and analysis, ActiveX Tool Kit for Visual Basic users and a C-Programmers Tool Kit. The DMC-1415 includes two uncommitted analog inputs, 7 uncommitted digital inputs and 3 uncommitted digital outputs.
