Description

The DMC-1412 is a member of the Econo Series, Galil's latest generation of single-axis motion controllers which are half the size and half the price of multi-axis controllers. This controller is available as a single axis card or packaged in a rugged enclosure. The DMC-1414 option is packaged with an internal servo amplifier suitable for driving brush-type servomotors up to 60 Volts, 6 Amps. The DMC-1412 can handle the most demanding applications with such features as an extra encoder input for electronic gearing, program memory with multitasking, uncommitted I/O and user-selectable stepper or servo motor control. Modes of motion include point-to-point positioning, jogging, contouring, electronic gearing and ecam. Programming the DMC-1412 is simplified with two-letter, intuitive commands and a full set of software tools such as WSDK for servo tuning and analysis, ActiveX Tool Kit for Visual Basic users and a C-Programmers Tool Kit. As a member of the Econo Series, the DMC-1412 does not provide uncommitted analog inputs and is not optoisolated. If you need these features, select the DMC-2110 Optima series stand-alone controller.
