PolSNAP is a compact Stokes Polarimeter from Hinds Instruments; a company with more than 45 years of polarimetry experience.


Data is acquired at the rate of 2000 samples per second for a quick determination of 4 Stokes vectors per second. The optical system, drive electronics and detection electronics are all contained in one convenient package. It easily fi ts into your optical set up so that you can determine the polarization of your light source or optics, do quality control on your lasers, or determine the polarization maintaining ability of your fi ber optics. This benchtop turnkey system generates all four Stokes parameters and displays them graphically in three different ways. The precision is down to 0.06% and repeatability is to within 1%
