Sandhouse Design offer state of the art high power stabilised LEDs with exceptional coupling efficiency into single optical fibres.

These powerful LED light sources are available in the visible, UV and IR wavelength ranges as single or multiple light sources.

LED light sources are available at nearly every 5nm increment in the wavelength from 240nm to 680nm, with units also available between 2950nm and 7000nm. If you have a specific wavelength you require and you don't see this listed on the datasheet, then please contact us and we will look into this also. The bare LEDs can also be sold separately, so again, contact us if this is of interest to you.

Innovative electronics drive the LEDs with a stable high current and allows them to be run at even higher peak currents when operated in the external triggered mode. The user can select continuous, externally triggered or OFF from a switch on the front. A separate switch allows you to adjust the power level. All functions can also be accessed through a 15 pin interface connector. An optional USB controller can be used to customize the settings including the drive current, pulse width and pulse frequency.

Multiple LED sources provide an easy way to deliver multiple wavelengths of light sequentially, or combined for excitation/emission mapping in fluorescence, ultra low stray light absorbance measurements and other applications.

The built in controller provides for high power low duty cycle pulsing, external triggering and outgoing trigger signals and power level in CW mode.

Tell us which wavelengths you need, we'll build them in. Or, you can buy replacement pigtailed LEDs or LEDs mounted on heat sink and change them yourself!
